Refrigeration Engineer

Midlands Region | up to £45,000 + Overtime

Looking for a role where you're not spending your life on the motorway? We're working with an established independent engineering business that has built a strong reputation over several decades delivering refrigeration and cooling solutions across the Midlands.
Their customer portfolio spans hospitality venues, large leisure facilities, retail environments, food service operators, and industrial premises. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to their service team.

The Position
This is a mobile engineering role focused primarily on commercial refrigeration equipment, with occasional air conditioning work.

Typical equipment includes:
 
Commercial chillers and freezer units
Walk-in cold storage systems
Retail display refrigeration
Ice production equipment
Beverage and cellar cooling systems
Split, VRF and VRV air conditioning installations  The role involves fault diagnosis, maintenance, repairs and reactive service visits throughout the Midlands region.

What we're looking for to be considered:
 
Current F-Gas certification
Hands-on experience servicing commercial refrigeration systems
Strong fault-finding and repair skills
A full UK driving licence
Refrigeration & Air Conditioning qualifications   Package & Benefits  
Basic salary up to £45,000
Paid travel from home to site
40-hour standard working week
Enhanced overtime rates
On-call rota (1 week in
5) with standby payment
