Joiner Technician

Timberwise is a family run specialist construction business located throughout England, Scotland and Wales that has been trading for over 50 years and is a founding member of the PCA. Due to our growing business, we are looking to increase our team of Preservation Joiners throughout the Midlands and specifically in the Birmingham area; there will be a need to travel throughout the region.

As a Joiner your role will include:

• Removal and replacement of timber floors
• Application of Timber treatments
• First and second fix joinery work
• Skirting boards
• Timber resin splice repairs

We are looking for someone in the West Midlands who has:

• Proven skills in Joinery
• A proactive and self‑motivated approach with the ability to plan and manage their own workload.
• A team player and Self starter
• Strong communication skills
• Enthusiastic and take pride in your work
• Previous experience in the preservation industry is desirable but full training will be provided.
• CSCS card holder

Hours of work are 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday with occasional out of hours and weekend work, for which overtime is paid.
