Role Overview
Multi Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias) needed for a large, well‑known facilities management organisation based in Birmingham who are looking to employ an experienced and well‑rounded Multi Skilled Engineer that takes pride in their work with an in‑depth knowledge of maintenance and repairs of electrical and non‑complex mechanical plant, services and physical assets including testing and routine fault finding.

- Undertake improvement work, maintenance and repairs of electrical and non‑complex mechanical plant, services and physical assets including testing and routine fault finding
- Mainly at the Acute Hospital; duties at the Mental Health unit and Retained Estate as required by the Estates management team
- Undertake any reasonable duties to maintain all services to the NHS Trust
- Carry out all works in compliance with KPI's and contract
- Maintain lighting systems, electrical sockets, and related electrical infrastructure
- Conduct Residual Current Device (RCD) testing and manage theatre shutdown procedures
- Support maintenance and breakdown operations across Mechanical and Fabric disciplines
- Carry out unsupervised maintenance and repairs and report any defects or unusual circumstances to the Supervisor
- Approved apprenticeship or C&G Part A & B, City & Guilds 236 Part 1 & 2, 2330/2365 levels 2 & 3 Diploma, EAL Electrical installation QCF Diploma levels 1, 2 & 3, EAL Level 3 Electrotechnical NVQ or C&G 2357 level 3 NVQ, AM2/JIB Gold Card Approved Electrician, 18th Edition of the Wiring Regulations C&G

- DBS Standard check required
