Senior Hydrogeologist Responsibilities

• Provide high-level technical expertise with regard to hydraulic/hydrologic analysis, modeling, and investigation.
• Specialize in project areas that have greater scope and complexity.
• Plan and develop projects or design activities that have significant impact on major company programs as needed.
• Plan, organize and supervise work of medium to large staff of professionals and technicians.
• Serve as Project Manager on larger projects as needed, though project management is not the sole focus of the position.
• Perform other related duties as necessary.

• 15+ years of experience in hydrology and hydraulic engineering and design.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hydrology, Civil Engineering, Water Resources, or closely related field.
• Professional Hydrologist (PH), Professional Engineer (PE), or ability to obtain the license.
• Experience with hydrologic/hydraulic modeling software.
• Understanding of permitting processes and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated project management knowledge (scope, schedule, budget).
• Experience with transportation clients (freight rail, DOT, transit).
• Experience on large-scale or fast-paced infrastructure projects.
• Experience with alternative delivery methods (CM/GC, design-build, etc.).

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies, Hydrology, Civil Engineering, Water Resources, or closely related field.
• 10 or more years of analysis, modeling, and design and management experience.
• Project management skills a plus.
