Brand Development Representative (BDR) - Sales
Location: BLOOMINGTON ILLINOIS Reports To: Regional Sales Director Employment Type: Full-Time
About Torch DrinksTorch Drinks is a fast-growing, hemp-derived THC beverage brand with a large and growing national footprint with a premium product lineup, a powerhouse distributor network, and a passionate sales team.
Total Compensation Package ($80,000 and above)- Competitive base salary + monthly performance bonuses.

- Drive in-market sales performance — first and foremost this is a sales job, you’ll be expected to hit and exceed monthly volume, distribution, and execution goals.
- Sell in new accounts across convenience, grocery, liquor, and on-premise channels.
- Work with our distributiors to promote Torch, align on sales priorities, and support their reps.
- Conduct ride-alongs, price surveys, and retail visits to ensure pricing integrity and execution standards.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key retailers and buyers
, securing new placements and displays. - Execute consumer demos and staff trainings to increase trial and education.
- Identify and activate local sales events that directly drive sell-through and awareness.
- Track all activity, goals, and wins through Torch’s CRM (
Karma
) and submit weekly recaps.
- 2+ years of beverage, alcohol, tobacco or THC category field sales experience.
- Deep understanding of the three-tier system and retail sales dynamics.
- Highly organized self-starter with strong follow-through and excellent communication and relationship-building skills. We are not in the business of micro management.
- Must be 21+, possess a valid driver’s license, and ready for regular travel within territory.
- Ambition for growth personally and professionally, you will own your territory.
- Enjoy customer facing interaction. Being in the market, meeting people, and closing deals.
