Construction Materials Testing; CMT Field Technician; Entry Level

Braun Intertec is seeking Entry-Level Construction Materials Testing Technicians to join our Bloomington, MN or White Bear Lake, MN offices. No experience required – we will train. As a technician, you will learn to perform a variety of testing on construction materials such as soils, concrete, masonry, and asphalt. On‑site materials testing is conducted on various commercial and transportation construction projects.

• Perform field density tests of soils.
• Conduct field concrete testing, including slump, air content, and strength.
• Prepare daily reports.
• Work with project managers, senior technicians, or staff to ensure specifications are followed.
• Perform routine sampling and testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, masonry, and asphalt.
• Assist with more complex testing tasks as required.

• A strong safety focus and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to learn and apply technical concepts.
• Flexibility to work extended or nontraditional hours as needed.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Related work experience in materials testing or construction is a plus.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift 50-75+ pounds.

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for the last three years.
• Proof of ability to lift 50-75+ pounds.

Compensation Range: $39,600.00 - $59,400.00
