Position: Warehouse Dispatch/Shipping Team Lead

Salary Range: $19.00 - $20.00 Hourly

• Monitors all aspects of daily operations for Dispatch and Shipping in the Distribution area. Verifies and distributes orders to pick while monitoring cut off times and carrier pick up times, ensuring all designated orders are completed to ship same day.
• Essential duties include monitoring flow of goods and implementing First-in First-out (FIFO).
• Maintains high standards of customer service by addressing and resolving issues with product preparation before the documentation is relayed back to dispatch.
• Verifies items shipped by matching documentation with system notes and reporting all discrepancies.
• Monitors Batch accounts and releases each one at their designated times.
• Monitors Production;
  Production Reporting.
• Documents employee performance and provides regular constructive feedback to employees.
• Ensures compliance with established safety policies and other regulatory procedures.
• Ensures employees are cross-trained in all aspects of dispatch/shipping.
• Leads by example; maintains a positive attitude.

• Job Requirements:
• Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED;
• Knowledge of shipping to allow individual to conduct process quality assessments;
• Ability to work in a multi-task environment;
• Detail oriented;
• Possess effective communication skills, organizational skills and leadership ability;
• Knowledge and experience working in a WMS system.

• Physical Requirements:
• Ability to see, and speak, hear, write, and understand English.
• Able to read and count accurately, do simple math, and write legibly
• Capable of standing, stooping, bending, and walking for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs

General warehouse environment; moderate noise level; standing and walking for extended periods; a positive attitude and pleasant personality.

Mon. – Fri. 7:00am to 3:30+pm with a ½ hour meal break. Overtime as required to meet production demands.
