* JOB SUMMARY:

** The Welder Trainee is responsible for operating welding equipment to build high quality parts, subassemblies, and finished product; weldments vary in type, size, and direction and are performed on a variety of production lines.  The Welder will also weld/rework various products and perform different weld techniques including flat, vertical, overhead positions, and rework raw and/or finished products.

** YOUR IMPACT:
** These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.
* Operate and overhead crane to maneuver parts safely into place.
* Adjust welding components using hand tools, torch, or welding equipment.
* Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
* Accurately operate and read measuring devices.
* Assemble and weld various metals parts together.
* Properly position material/parts to be welded.

* MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

* Previous experience in manufacturing environment.
