SummaryA test engineer serves as the central interface point between engineering and operations. As a Test Engineer at NAI, you will develop new test solutions, fixtures, hardware, software and supporting documentation for all products produced in the IO division. The Test Engineer is involved from initial debug to final validation of the final product.
Responsibilities- Creation of test plans and documentation for new and existing products.
- Development of test fixtures and tools for internal evaluation and troubleshooting.
- Test and troubleshooting of engineering development products in embedded hardware and software of new products.
- Firmware validation and support for bug fixes and improvement to existing hardware.
- Work with the software development team for new and existing products to create and define automation testing.
- Minimum of a degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of C, C#, and general software practices.
- Knowledge of analog and digital circuit analysis.
- Minimum of 0‑3 years of experience preferred in test and development of embedded systems.
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
- Ability to work in a lab environment using various test equipment (oscilloscopes, function generators, DMMs).
- Candidates must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident) and be able to provide appropriate documentation upon hire.
