Role DescriptionThe Net Suite Solutions Engineer sits at the intersection of technology, operations, and customer success. Acting as both a trusted advisor and hands‑on builder, this role is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting integrations between Net Suite and the broader e‑commerce ecosystem, including storefronts, payment processors, 3PLs, and marketplaces.
We’re looking for someone who combines deep Net Suite expertise with a builder’s mentality and a consultative approach. You’re just as comfortable leading discovery sessions and architecting solutions as you are diving into integrations, troubleshooting issues, and rolling up your sleeves to get things done.
This role works closely with merchants, product managers, engineers, and operations leaders, requiring strong communication skills, technical curiosity, and the ability to keep projects moving across both technical and non‑technical teams. If you enjoy solving problems, simplifying complexity, and helping fast‑growing brands scale, you’ll fit right in.
What You’ll DoKey Responsibilities
- Leads discovery sessions with merchant partners and internal stakeholders to capture requirements and architect scalable Net Suite solutions aligned with their business processes.
- Designs, builds, and maintains integrations between Net Suite and third‑party platforms (storefronts, payment processors, 3PLs, marketplaces, ERPs) using REST/SOAP APIs, iPaaS tools, and custom Suite Scripts.
- Configures and optimizes Net Suite modules including Order Management, Inventory, Financials, and WMS to support e‑commerce workflows and operational goals.
- Owns the full solution lifecycle — from requirements gathering and solution design through UAT, deployment, and post‑launch hypercare.
- Serves as the primary technical point of contact for key customer accounts, communicating clearly and credibly across both business and engineering audiences.
- Collaborates with product and engineering teams to surface customer insights, elevate systemic issues, and inform the platform roadmap.
- Identifies and implements opportunities to leverage AI tooling to automate workflows, surface operational insights, and enhance the merchant experience.
- Contributes to internal playbooks, integration templates, and solution documentation to accelerate team delivery and ensure consistency.
- Partners with pre‑sales and account management to scope new opportunities, deliver technical demonstrations, and support the customer onboarding process.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- 3+ years of hands‑on Net Suite implementation experience, including Suite Script 2.x (client, server, scheduled, and map/reduce scripts).
- Proficiency with Suite Flow, Suite Talk, and Suite Analytics, including saved searches, custom records, and advanced reporting configurations.
- Demonstrated experience designing and maintaining integrations using REST and SOAP APIs, with exposure to iPaaS platforms such as Celigo, Boomi, or Mule Soft.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into functional solution specifications, with strong analytical and problem‑solving instincts.
- Proven track record managing enterprise client relationships and leading technical discovery workshops, demos, and solution reviews.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently across both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Practical fluency with AI tools (such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot) to accelerate analysis, documentation, workflow design, or data transformation.
- Ability to scope and estimate solution complexity accurately, manage competing priorities, and deliver results in a fast‑moving, ambiguous environment.
