What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, visitor processing steps, badge and credential checks, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a tech, media, or telecom location.

* Monitor entry and exit points, confirm authorization for employees, visitors, contractors, and/or deliveries, and report unusual activity or access concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner.

* Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and visitor records, and communicate access-related information with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and/or emergency personnel as needed.

* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while helping to support security-related policies, workplace expectations, and restricted area protocols.

* Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, checking doors, gates, lobbies, and other access points as part of assigned security-related duties.

Minimum Requirements:

* Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

* Access control and badge experience is preferred.

* Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

* A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

* Customer service experience is preferred.

* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
