Make a direct impact on students' lives as a bilingual social worker for the  school year. Serve in a collaborative and supportive school environment, working 1-2 days per week (up to 14 hours) to assist students with IEPs who are bilingual in English and Spanish. As a valued team member, you'll also aid the broader general education bilingual program and provide building-wide support when on campus.

  • Current Illinois School Social Worker license required
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish essential
  • Previous experience in school or healthcare social work preferred
  • Strong communication and cultural competency skills
  • Ability to encourage and empower students, meeting diverse needs
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver direct social-emotional services and counseling to students with IEPs
  • Support general education bilingual programming and initiatives
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families for student success
  • Maintain accurate documentation that aligns with district and legal requirements
