Warehouse Material Handler Bolingbrook, IL

Position Description

Warehouse Material Handler job at Ryder System, Bolingbrook, IL. Full Time material handler positions with hourly pay of $19.00 per hour. Schedules:
Monday - Friday, First Shift 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM. Pay weekly.

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, and receiving
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment
• Cycle count and audit inventory
• Accurately pick, pack, audit, and stage products for loading/unloading trucks
• Handle day‑to‑day paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, bills of lading
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hour of production
• Perform duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Perform other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience (preferred)
• Valid forklift operator's license certified
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team, and within a diverse work environment
• Highly thorough, dependable, punctual, and with excellent attendance record
• Can work with minimal supervision and demonstrate initiative
  
  Demonstrates high level of accuracy under pressure
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices
• Must be available to work on a flexible schedule on various work shifts
• Must be able to work using health and safety methods
