Position: Travel Nurse RN - Long Term Care (LTC) Long Term Care - $1,769 per week

Overview

TNAA Total Med RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Long Term Care (LTC) for a travel nursing job in Boone, Iowa. This position is a 13-week assignment, traveling with a 37-hour work week, and the shift is 8 hours in the evenings.

Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Monitor residents' conditions and report changes promptly
  • Supervise and support CNAs and LPNs in daily care activities
  • Provide wound care, catheter care, and other skilled nursing procedures
  • Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and social workers
  • Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory guidelines
  • Participate in care plan meetings and family conferences
  • Document nursing care and resident progress accurately and timely
  • Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers
Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of RN experience in a Long-Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
  • Current BLS certification
  • Eligible for State licensure
  • ACLS and additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment
