Accounting Specialist - Growing Hospitality Organization in Dedham, MA

We’re partnering with a private hospitality organization seeking an Accounting Specialist to support day-to-day accounting operations in a fast-paced, member-focused environment. This is a highly visible role that works closely with leadership and plays a key part in keeping financial processes organized, accurate, and running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Processing accounts payable invoices and employee reimbursements
• Managing weekly cash requirements, check runs, and payment posting
• Handling member billing, dues, fees, and assessments
• Maintaining member billing profiles and responding to billing inquiries
• Tracking Pro Shop sales, professional lessons, and event activity
• Auditing restaurant and retail POS systems and maintaining item codes
• Processing general ledger transfers and adjustments
• Supporting month-end and year-end procedures within the management system
• Assisting leadership with reporting and special projects as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent professional experience
• 15+ years of accounting experience, preferably within a club, hospitality, or service-based environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computerized accounts payable systems

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities erience with AP, member billing, reconciliations, and POS systems is highly preferred.

$95K - $115K base salary, dependent on experience
