Project Manager, Operations Manager, Program ​/ Project Manager

About the Role

The Project Manager role at Daniel Marr & Son Company is responsible for project management of various steel and misc. metals construction projects.

• Maintain control of all required project documents utilizing Procore as a project management platform.
• Attend project meetings as required (in house, teams, jobsites, etc).
• Communicate with general contractor and fabricator personnel to coordinate work.
• Assist during pre-construction planning for projects including the development of sequencing plans, logistics plans, schedules, etc.
• Track, maintain and update project schedules as required.
• Develop various work plans, crane lift plans, and submittals.
• Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors.
• Prepare change order requests (including drawing comparisons, takeoffs and estimates).
• Track field production for various activities and projects.
• Maintain and update reports.
• Coordinate work with field personnel (superintendent and foremen) and provide support as required.
• Prepare and provide safety plans, JHA’s, etc. and maintain documents.
• Perform additional duties as required by the Director of Operations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or comparable work experience.
• Minimum 3+ years experience in construction project management.
• Experience in steel construction a plus.
