Senior Estimator

Tiello has partnered with a highly successful General Contractor in the Boston, MA area on their search for a Senior Estimator with experience in commercial projects. The Senior Estimator will manage the preconstruction phase for assigned projects, ensuring cost goals are met across estimating, scheduling, bidding, and contracting. For design/build projects, lead the design team through completion of construction documents while keeping the project aligned with scope and budget.

• Oversee the full bidding process from start to finish, including soliciting, leveling, and analyzing bids for hard bids (GMP and lump sum) and major change orders.
• Prepare or assist in developing scopes of work to support estimating efforts.
• Develop and maintain strong subcontractor relationships.
• Review and understand project documents (specs, general conditions, schedules) and how they impact pricing.

• 5+ years of experience in commercial construction estimating is required.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a client-focused mindset.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
