Reporting to the Cyber Incident Response Manager within the Cybersecurity Team, we are seeking an experienced Cyber Incident Response – Senior Analyst to become part of a dynamic incident response team.
Responsibilities- Incident Management & Coordination: coordinate and work closely with cross‑functional teams (SOC, IT, Legal, Antifraud, Privacy) during a cyber incident investigation.
- Communication & Reporting: effectively communicate updates on ongoing cyber incident investigation to senior management and timely escalates as needed.
- Documentation & Reporting: create and send CSIRT notifications, post incident "Lessons Learned" reports, and update security policies, procedures, and documentation based on incident findings.
- Vendor & Client Management: coordinate with clients and vendors for 3rd‑party cyber investigations.
- Internal Cyber Events: manage the cyber incident response process from initial detection to resolution, ensuring timely and effective action and communicating with relevant stakeholders appropriately.
- Documentation and Playbooks: enhance incident response documentation (tracking incidents, updating procedures, updating playbooks, metrics, etc.).
- Tabletop Exercises: participate in cyber‑related tabletop exercises.
- Social Engineering Simulations: conduct or support social engineering exercises to raise employee awareness of social engineering risks.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in cyber security and incident management, preferably within financial services.
- Strong understanding of latest cybersecurity threats and trends.
- Deep knowledge of cyber incident response frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO) and regulatory requirements (DFS Part 500, DORA).
- Proficiency in understanding cyber controls and technical competence with IT systems, infrastructure, and applications.
- Strong writing, analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize effectively, meet deadlines, and manage multiple incidents simultaneously.
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills.
Salary Range: $110,000 – $160,000 plus target bonus. BBH’s compensation program includes base salary, discretionary bonuses, and profit‑sharing.
