About Evoke
Evoke is a boutique landscape design and construction firm based in Denver, Colorado. We work with high-end residential clients to create considered, site-specific outdoor environments — spaces that are beautiful, livable, and deeply rooted in the Colorado landscape. Our work spans intimate garden renovations to multi-phase estate projects across the Front Range.
The RoleWe’re looking for a Senior Landscape Designer or Landscape Architect to lead projects from concept through construction administration. This person will bring both creative vision and technical fluency — comfortable sketching with a client on a Tuesday and reviewing contractor submittals on a Friday. You’ll work directly with the principal, collaborate with our design team, and own client relationships from kickoff to completion.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Lead the full design process on residential projects — programming, schematic design, design development, and construction documents
- Develop and present design concepts to clients with clarity and confidence
- Produce detailed planting plans, grading plans, and construction details in AutoCAD and/or Vectorworks
- Collaborate with contractors, architects, and subcontractors throughout construction
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and client communications
- Support business development through proposals, client meetings, and referral relationships
- 5+ years of professional landscape design or landscape architecture experience, with a strong residential portfolio
- Degree in Landscape Architecture, Landscape Design, or related field; RLA license a plus, not required
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or Vectorworks;
Sketch Up, Lumion, or Adobe Suite are a plus - Deep knowledge of plant material suited to Colorado’s climate and Front Range conditions
- Experience with cost-plus and NTE project structures; comfort reviewing bids and contractor scopes
- Strong communication skills — you can hold a room with clients and a conversation with a contractor
- Self-directed, detail-oriented, and genuinely passionate about great outdoor design
