Safety‑focused Warehouse Associate responsible for forklift and yard dog operations, loading and unloading of trucks, communication with team members, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

• Perform daily safety checklists on forklifts, including oil levels, backup beepers, and tire condition.
• Ensure proper safety measures are followed while working around forklifts, yard dogs, and remote battery chargers; follow procedures for chocking wheels and other equipment.
• Report forklift or yard dog maintenance needs to the Team Lead.
• Read and understand incoming and outgoing orders for finished products and raw materials.
• Verify labeling and packaging processes and ensure correct product, quantity, and labeling on loaded trucks.
• Communicate clearly and verbally with Manager, Material Handlers, and truck drivers; complete documentation accurately and neat.
• Maintain general housekeeping of warehouse and dock areas, ensuring proper and safe storage of finished and raw materials.
• Keep trucks swept and clean prior to loading.
• Support inventory counts, follow pick and put‑away plans, and accurately maintain inventory records.
• Use problem‑solving skills to address operational issues.
• Lift up to 35 pounds and perform tasks using basic computer skills and a scan gun for inventory.

• Knowledge of forklift and yard dog operation and safe driving practices.
• Ability to read and understand inventory orders and labeling requirements.
• Experience loading trucks to customer specifications.
• Strong verbal communication skills with managers, handlers, and drivers.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Certifications or experience operating lift trucks and using a scan gun.

• Knowledge of all Amcor products and placement in the warehouse.
• Ability to take direction and work well with others.
• Use of proper PPE when required.
• Dependable with good attendance; report to work on time.
• Good communication skills, ability to pass on important information.
• Ability to work alone or in a group setting.
• Comfortable with routine tasks.
• Attention to detail, sound judgment regarding work priorities, and problem‑solving capability.
