Network Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to develop and manage the Air Force's specialized network. In this role you will design, deploy, and troubleshoot secure, reliable network infrastructure that supports national defense missions.
Responsibilities- Develop specialized network infrastructure and architectures.
- Use experience in system interoperability, OSI model, and server and network application administration to support defense missions.
- troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, increasing security, reliability, and availability for mission‑critical systems.
- Apply expertise in administration, routing and switching, and integration of encryption gear.
- Design and architect network solutions enhancing system interoperability.
- Optimize client operations using cryptographic equipment, software and hardware firewalls, Cisco, Palo Alto, cloud integration, and Solar Winds.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on mission‑critical projects, leveraging industry standards to impact national security missions.
- 3+ years of experience supporting network switching and routing
- 3+ years of experience designing and troubleshooting secure networks
- Experience managing, configuring, and optimizing transport circuits and routes
- Experience developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for new network connections, IP address management, maintenance schedules, and recovery procedures
- Knowledge of routing protocols and services such as BGP, NAT, or IPsec
- TS/SCI clearance
- HS diploma or GED
- Security+ Certification
- Experience with AWS connectivity
- Experience with Microsoft Azure connectivity
- Experience using VMware vSphere or Horizon
- Experience working in SAPF and SCIF environments
- Knowledge of managing TACACS+ and RADIUS
- Ability to create and manage network support documentation
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Cyber, or Information Systems
- CCNA or CCNP Certification
- Cloud Certifications (Cloud+, AWS, Microsoft)

CompensationSalary range: $77,500.00 to $ (annualized USD). Compensation is determined by location, education, experience, and contract‑specific factors. This posting will close within 90 days from posting date.
