Qualifications &

Experience:

• Active RN license required
• Minimum of one year of recent Cath Lab nursing experience
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Familiarity with monitoring, medication administration, and sterile techniques in cardiac catheterization procedures
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively to emergencies

Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization procedures and provide pre- and post-procedural care
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab
• Monitor vital signs and patient responses, ensuring safety and prompt reporting of abnormalities
• Administer medications as ordered, documenting care accurately and thoroughly
• Maintain supplies, equipment, and a sterile environment in compliance with infection control standards
• Educate patients and families on procedures, post-care instructions, and recovery expectations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes
