Truck Driver CDL A Yard

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Yard Truck Driver in Bradenton, FL — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.

The wages for this position are $900 or more per week, paid weekly. You will receive benefits after 30 days.

• Weekly pay: $900+
• Hourly pay: $22.50 per hour (when applicable)
• Average 40 hours per week
• Schedule:
  
  Monday – Friday, start time 6:00 PM
• Route:
  Local – Home Daily
• Truck type:
  Day Cab/yard truck (automatic)
• Trailer:
  Dry Van 53’
• Freight:
  No Touch

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, agency rules, standards, and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
• Maintaining accurate records and logs
• Loading/unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
• Performing other duties as assigned

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass Ryder drug test, background and motor vehicle check, DOT physical, and road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements
• Class A verifiable experience in a tractor‑trailer or comparable vehicle:
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures

• Medical, Dental & Vision after 30 days
• 80 hours PTO first year (use it or get paid for it)
