If you’re an experienced Bridging Underwriter looking for hands on deal ownership and the freedom to apply commercial judgement, this role offers exposure to a wide range of regulated and unregulated bridging cases within a specialist lending environment. You’ll underwrite real world transactions where speed, structure, and risk awareness genuinely matter.

This is a pragmatic underwriting role suited to someone comfortable working at pace, managing live pipelines, and engaging directly with brokers and internal stakeholders. You’ll have the scope to influence deal structures while operating within a clear credit framework.

The business is a specialist bridging lender operating in the short term property finance market. It supports broker introduced business and focuses on tailored lending solutions outside standard high street criteria within a regulated and non regulated framework.

• Underwrite regulated and unregulated bridging loan applications in line with credit policy and risk appetite.
• Assess borrower profiles, property security, exit strategies, and overall deal viability.
• Manage a pipeline of live cases, liaising with brokers, solicitors, valuers, and internal teams through to completion.

• Proven experience underwriting bridging finance within a specialist lending environment.
• Strong understanding of short term property lending, security types, and exit strategies.
• Experience making commercially balanced credit decisions in a fast paced setting.
