Depot Intake Supervisor – Bradford Depot
British Wool represents 30,000 members across the UK, collecting, grading and marketing wool on their behalf. We are committed to supporting farmers and ensuring their wool reaches markets effectively and efficiently.
We are now looking for an Depot Intake Supervisor to join our Operations team at the Bradford depot. This is a permanent, variable hours position offering a varied and rewarding role within a supportive team.
Monday to Thursday 8:00am - 4:30pm and Friday 8:00am - 3:30pm

At British Wool, we’re looking for someone to support our regional operations from our Bradford depot.
This is a primarily office-based role with some hands‑on depot activity and occasional local visits – giving you variety without constant travel.

You’ll play a key part in ensuring the service runs smoothly in your area—supporting both customers and operations from your local depot.

- Supporting members and handling queries (phone, email, in person)
- Coordinating with local collection centres and transport providers
- Supporting the day‑to‑day running of the depot

- Occasionally visiting local collection sites (around 25 sites, typically twice per year)
- Monday–Thursday 8:00am–4:30pm, Friday 8:00am–3:30pm
- 23 days holiday + bank holidays (rising to 28 days)

You’ll need to be:
- Organised and able to manage your workload
- Comfortable speaking to a wide range of people
- Practical and happy in both office and operational settings
- A driver with a full UK licence
- Experience in logistics, depot, or warehouse environments
- Knowledge of health & safety
