Their Brampton facility is a hub for innovation, focusing on precision-engineered components—including passive and semi‑active dampers and hydro‑pneumatic struts—for the military, construction, and forestry sectors.

Responsibilities
  • Procurement Management:
    Source and procure materials and components in alignment with project specifications and defense regulations.
  • Supplier Relations:
    Foster long‑term partnerships with suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and competitive pricing.
  • Contract Negotiation:
    Secure favorable terms and pricing while mitigating risks and adhering to project budgets.
  • Supply Chain Optimization:
    Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements within the procurement lifecycle.
  • Compliance:
    Maintain accurate documentation and ensure all activities comply with local, global, and industry‑specific policies.
  • Cross‑Functional

    Collaboration:

    Partner with Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Project Management to align procurement with production timelines.
  • Risk Mitigation:
    Proactively identify and resolve potential supply chain disruptions.
Qualifications

Note: Due to the nature of our work, candidates must be a Permanent Resident or Citizen of Canada to successfully clear the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) requirements.

  • Education:

    Degree/Diploma in Business, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience:

    Proven background in manufacturing purchasing and/or inventory management.
  • Regulatory Knowledge:
    Familiarity with ITAR (US Defense import/export restrictions) and Canada’s Controlled Goods Program (CGP).
  • Technical Literacy:
    Ability to understand engineering drawings, nomenclature, and manufacturing processes (raw materials, etc.).
  • Travel:
    Ability to travel internationally as required.
  • Licensing:
    Must hold a valid Driver’s License and possess (or have the ability to obtain) security clearance.
