Position: Dispatcher Role with First Student

Join First Student as a Dispatcher, where your skills will elevate safety and service. Manage bus schedules and support drivers to ensure excellent performance.

As a Dispatcher at First Student, you’ll oversee bus routes while guiding drivers and monitors with expertise forged from 3–5 years of experience.

Your role as a communication hub will be vital as you handle incoming inquiries and report issues effectively to management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee routing and scheduling of buses daily

• Train and support drivers and monitors on duties

• Handle extensive phone and radio communications

• Process scheduling complaints and inform supervisors

• Coordinate as the main contact for major clients

Requirements:

• 3–5 years experience in dispatch or terminal operations

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Proficient with computer systems

• Ability to perform under tight deadlines
