Wireless Network Operations Center Lead Responsibilities

  • Coordinate scheduling for the Wireless Network Operations Center group supporting the Cellular Over the Horizon Enforcement Network (COTHEN) and Land Mobile Radio (LMR) Service; serve as the lead point of contact (POC) for government and customers seeking technical assistance.
  • Coordinate training for new contractor positions and provide documentation for daily, weekly, and monthly reports from the ticketing system and databases.
  • Provide real-time incident monitoring, predictive and proactive analysis, incident resolution and escalation, problem management and resolution; coordinate events related to network communications and network utilization and availability analysis and reporting.
  • Operate the NOC, staffed 24x7x365 with three (3) shifts of mid to senior level contract technicians, handling approximately 4,000 tickets a month.
Required Qualifications
  • At least Ten (10) Plus years of experience with tactical communications integration, testing, programming, troubleshooting, and design.
  • Three (3) Plus years of experience in tactical communications Project 25 (P25) integration, installation, operations, maintenance, repairing and maintaining P25 infrastructure equipment.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting government agencies, customers, or contracts within federal environments, including the Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Defense (DoD), Federal Civil agencies, and military organizations. Prior experience supporting the same or similar contract, with an in-depth understanding of the customer environment, requirements, and operational landscape, is highly desirable.
