Who we need

We are looking for a people leader who wants to take ownership for the smooth running of our London location overseeing a team of eleven. As the new Branch Supervisor, you will instill a high standard of customer services, build out the strengths of your team, and be hands-on with the product, working directly with customers on a daily basis.

What you will do:

Promote and support the company's core values of personal excellence, teamwork, and achievement. Lead and supervise branch staff. You will coach and empower your staff to do their best work, removing roadblocks, and offering insights as you frequently work on the floor with them. You will ensure staff receive proper training on products and development of skills to maximize their efficiencies and support their growth. In addition, you will be involved in hiring, payroll, and performance reviews on a day-to-day and annual basis.

Prioritize customer service. You will manage inquiries and escalations, follow up with issues by phone or email, dive into the details, liaise with AP/AR, track shipments, and do what it takes to resolve the issue. You will provide updates on new products, coordinating seminars and new product introductions.

Collaborate with the Regional Operations Manager. You will provide updates regarding staffing and training needs; concerns with performance or service level; and recommendations for improvement. You will ensure the implementation of company processes to enhance branch profitability.

Work across teams. You will collaborate with DC's to ensure vendor returns are managed and with the Customer Service Manager to ensure customer service levels are maintained.

Manage the warehouse administration. You will ensure efficiency across all warehouse order processes from end-to-end. You will prepare the warehouse, scheduling employees, and oversee the process for yearly inventory.

Maintain all Health & Safety standards. You will ensure that all safety policies are adhered to, and standards are met and exceeded as outlined in the OHSA and the Company Safety Manual. You will ensure your branch is a safe and clean environment including maintaining safety devices, creating awareness of hazards, and providing protective equipment and supplies.
Position Requirements
Tech School, 5 to 6 Years work experience

You can manage conflict and exercise sound judgement to diffuse situations quickly and calmly, ensuring customer satisfaction.

The management skills. You thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment and can achieve strategic goals and objectives. You can identify gaps in service or workflow and draw on your insights and experience to implement process improvements, roll them out effectively, and ensure staff engagement.

The people leader skills. You have proven team leadership skills, including hiring, scheduling, and providing training for employees. You can gain the trust of your team, motivate them to meet and exceed personal and company goals, and provide performance coaching.

The technical skills. You are proficient with basic software applications and can quickly come up to speed on new tools.
