Bridgend County Borough Council is seeking an experienced and motivated professional to take on the role of Lead Education Engagement Co-ordinator.
This is a key leadership position within the Education Engagement Team, where you will play a vital role in improving school attendance, supporting vulnerable learners, and ensuring that all children and young people have access to appropriate and inclusive education.
You will operationally lead the team and work closely with schools, families, and partner agencies to drive improved outcomes for children at risk of disengagement from education.
We are looking for a candidate who brings strong leadership, expertise, and commitment to supporting children and families.
The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post.
Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.
A valid driving licence is requirement for this post.
The council’s Hybrid Working Policy applies to this post. This provides a framework for establishing how you will undertake working hours between your home and the office.
An Enhanced with Childrens Barred list criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) is a requirement for this post.
