Teacher Active is proud to be working with a welcoming Primary School in Bridgend that has a dedicated ALN unit. The school promotes an inclusive and nurturing ethos, ensuring all pupils are supported to achieve their individual goals while developing confidence, independence and a love of learning.

The school is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant on a long-term temporary basis from September. The successful Teaching Assistant will support children within Key Stage 1 / KS1, working closely with teaching staff to deliver tailored interventions, encourage engagement and provide additional support for pupils with ALN.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification desirable

• Experience working within a Primary School setting

• Awareness and understanding of Additional Learning Needs (ALN)

• Experience supporting children within KS1

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

• A positive, proactive and caring approach
