Compensation: £32,992 / year

Join Poltronesofà as a 7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver, delivering furniture to customers’ homes and ensuring excellent service.

All you need to apply is a Category C1 vehicle licence, a driver digital tachograph card and the relevant drivers CPC qualification (certificate of professional competence). Previous furniture delivery experience can be a benefit; personality and ability to learn new skills are also important.

• Delivering and installing furniture in customers’ homes
• Working through a delivery schedule with the support of your crew mate
• Work as part of a wider distribution centre team in helping to load and unload furniture onto our vehicles
• Providing a brilliant service to our customers and encouraging their feedback
• Ensuring the team is safe by carrying out checks and driving safely
• Work 44 hours over 4 days with every Sunday off; flexibility required during peak periods
• Heavy lifting

• Previous experience within a driving role
• Category C1 vehicle licence
• Driver digital tachograph card
• Relevant drivers CPC qualification (certificate of professional competence)
• Knowledge and understanding of safety requirements of operating a vehicle and familiarity with tachograph regulation
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow processes and procedures
• Strives to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction
• Physically fit and able to undertake manual handling (heavy lifting)

• Experience in a warehouse environment (desirable)
