Civil Engineer; P.E

Overview

Kleinfelder’s Design team is seeking a Civil Engineer (P.E.) to work on development projects in the Mid‑Atlantic region, including land development and power grid resiliency. Projects include commercial, industrial, solar, and mining development.

Bridgeport, WV;
Mechanicsburg, PA;
Pittsburgh (Sewickley), PA.

• Lead the development of designs and plans for site layout and grading.
• Design erosion and sediment control.
• Manage post‑construction stormwater for multiple state jurisdictions (PA, WV, OH, MD).
• Prepare NPDES permit applications.
• Prepare land development applications in accordance with federal, state, and local ordinances.
• Ensure zoning compliance.

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• 8–10 years of experience in erosion and sediment control design and post‑construction stormwater design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3‑D, and Hydro
  
  CAD.

• Engineer in Training Certificate required;
  Professional Engineering License preferred.
• Understanding of land development processes.
• Understanding of zoning ordinance review and compliance.
