Our esteemed client in Brighton, Colorado is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Human Resources Manager to join their team. Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, this role serves as a strategic partner to designated business units, providing leadership and guidance across all facets of Human Resources.
This is a dynamic opportunity for an HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment and is passionate about driving positive workplace culture, talent development, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on HR policies, employee relations, performance issues, and workplace concerns
- Implement and manage HR programs including talent acquisition, onboarding, employee development, and performance management
- Maintain and optimize the HRIS system; ensure integrity and confidentiality of employee records and data
- Partner with business leaders to support organizational goals and workforce planning
- Lead recruitment and onboarding efforts to build a qualified and diverse talent pipeline
- Administer compensation and benefits programs in coordination with corporate HR
- Manage employee relations matters, conduct investigations, and ensure consistent application of policies
- Oversee Workers’ Compensation claims and collaborate with insurance carriers and leadership on return-to-work and case resolution
- Support organizational change initiatives and champion internal communication, recognition, and engagement programs
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices
- Participate in audits, continuous improvement initiatives, and cross-functional HR projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 3+ years of HR management experience
, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment - Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations (FMLA, ADA, COBRA, and state-specific labor laws)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems (Success Factors or similar)
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP)
strongly preferred - Experience in both union and non-union environments preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
