Salary: £37,500 (including shift allowance).

Location:

Bristol, BS10.

Hours:

38 per week Monday to Friday (6am‑2pm, 2pm‑10pm; early finish on Friday).

Friendly, successful aerospace engineering company in Bristol is recruiting a quality inspector to report to the quality manager and work within a small team of quality engineers and inspectors.

• Dimensional and visual inspection of precision machined components.
• Perform first‑off, FAIRS, intermediate and final inspections.
• Document and maintain inspection records and reports in accordance with AS9102.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, route cards, process instructions, and inspection procedures to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Inspect, verify and certify incoming material and subcontract parts using standard measuring equipment and CMM.
• Address quality issues and provide practical solutions on the shop floor.

• 3+ years quality experience, preferably in an engineering environment.
• Related engineering background or equivalent qualifications (City & Guilds, NVQ, or similar).
• Knowledge of operating CMM machines preferred but not essential.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
