Project Assistant (two posts; 34 hours and 20 hours)
Pen-Hall is a brand-new service for care-experienced young people in Bristol. Set within a newly refurbished home for up to nine young people, this service supports them as they take confident steps toward greater independence.
You will support vulnerable young people to build independence and positive life skills in a dynamic, team‑based supported housing environment, delivering engaging activities and tailored support programmes. You’ll play a key role in creating a safe, inclusive space where young people can grow, thrive, and achieve their goals.

How we workOur approach is rooted in Psychologically Informed Environments (PIE) and Trauma-Informed Practice (TIP). We prioritise safety, trust, collaboration, and understanding the impact of trauma in every interaction.
What you will be doing:- Engage enthusiastically with young people to enable positive engagement and activities, empowering them to gain confidence and practical skills to live independently.
- Collaborate to ensure a safe and thriving home environment for young people.
- Dedicate to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of every young person and child, applying best practices.
- Use organisational and IT skills to maintain varied records and keep them up-to-date.
- Be flexible, working a set rota that includes mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends.
You will be in the Pen-Hall team, reporting to the Senior Project Worker.
Contract details:- Hours per week: 34 or 20 (two posts)
- Contract type:
Permanent - Pay: £26,824 - £28,142 per annum pro rata, starting at the bottom of the scale

Brislington, Bristol
- 30 days annual leave plus all Bank Holidays.
