The Position – Year 2 Teacher

As a Year 2 Teacher, you will take on full classroom responsibility, including planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum. You will be preparing pupils for the transition into Key Stage 2, ensuring strong progress in reading, writing, and maths. You will create a positive and inclusive learning environment, use effective behaviour management strategies, and differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND and EAL.

The Year 2 class is tricky so they do need someone with strong behaviour management skills. This is a full-time, long-term position starting ASAP.
