Job Description
We are seeking a Senior UX Researcher & Designer to lead user-centered research and design initiatives for public-facing digital services. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience conducting qualitative and quantitative research, translating insights into actionable design solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead discovery sprints and UX research initiatives for digital service projects.
- Plan and conduct generative and evaluative research, including interviews, field studies, usability testing, and A/B testing.
- Develop research plans, hypotheses, and user requirements.
- Recruit and engage users representing target demographics and behaviors.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to generate actionable insights.
- Create wireframes, user journeys, and workflows based on research findings.
- Present research outcomes and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with product, design, engineering, analytics, and business teams.
- Promote UX research best practices and strengthen organizational research methodologies.
- 8+ years of UX Research and Design experience.
- Strong experience with generative research, usability testing, and A/B testing.
- Expertise in mixed-method research approaches and statistical analysis.
- Experience translating research findings into user journeys and wireframes.
- Ability to develop evidence-based digital strategies.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience recruiting and researching diverse user groups while minimizing research bias.
- Certification in Evaluation Practice (TEI) or equivalent.
- 10+ years of experience analyzing qualitative and quantitative datasets.
- Strong understanding of accessibility and inclusive design practices.
- Experience facilitating workshops, group synthesis sessions, and collaborative design activities.
- Background working with product, engineering, data, and analytics teams.
- Experience working with government, public sector, or large enterprise digital transformation initiatives.
- Experience improving public-facing digital services through user-centered design
