As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Auditor in Brooklyn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.

* Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and notifying appropriate personnel.

* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, common areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.

* Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify identification and/or authorization as directed by site policies, and report unusual behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or hazards.

* Support staff, visitors, and occupants with directions, de-escalation, and communication during routine operations and/or unusual events, in alignment with post instructions and Allied Universal standards.

Minimum Requirements:

* Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.

* Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.

* A guard card or license is preferred.

* Access control and badge experience is preferred.

* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
