How This Role Works:

* Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"):
You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

* Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:
In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

* Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a financial institution location.

* Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and activities according to post orders and reporting guidelines.

* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the perimeter, parking areas, public access points, and other restricted areas, while maintaining awareness of unusual activity.

* Maintain an armed presence in accordance with site-specific policies, licensing requirements, and Allied Universal guidelines, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.

* Monitor entry and exit activity, help to deter unauthorized access, and support cash handling, opening, closing, and other sensitive operational periods as directed by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

* Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.

* Possess an armed guard card and/or license.

* Be at least 21 years of age.

* Possess a corrections officer license.

* Possess a law enforcement officer license.

* Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

* Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
