Civil Design Engineer

Location: Broussard, LA

Salary: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year

Shift: 1st Shift

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering from an accredited U.S. or international university
• 1-5 years of structural steel design experience
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Knowledge of structural engineering principles and design standards

• Experience with drilling operations or drilling support structures
• Working knowledge of one or more of the following software programs:
  • Bentley SACS
  • Bentley STAAD
  • SAFI GSE or PSE
  • SAP
    2000
  • ANSYS

• Design and analyze structural steel systems in compliance with industry codes, including AISC, API 4F, API RP 2A, DNV, and ABS
• Create and update 3D structural engineering models
• Design bolted and welded steel connections per AISC standards
• Support new product development and structural upgrades for light and heavy steel structures
• Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, reports, and technical documentation
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure project quality, accuracy, and deadlines are met
