Location: Broussard, LA
Salary: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
Shift: 1st Shift
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering from an accredited U.S. or international university
- 1-5 years of structural steel design experience
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Knowledge of structural engineering principles and design standards
- Experience with drilling operations or drilling support structures
- Working knowledge of one or more of the following software programs:
- Bentley SACS
- Bentley STAAD
- SAFI GSE or PSE
- SAP
2000 - ANSYS
- Design and analyze structural steel systems in compliance with industry codes, including AISC, API 4F, API RP 2A, DNV, and ABS
- Create and update 3D structural engineering models
- Design bolted and welded steel connections per AISC standards
- Support new product development and structural upgrades for light and heavy steel structures
- Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, reports, and technical documentation
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure project quality, accuracy, and deadlines are met
