Responsible for the proper and safe operation of shuttle buses and transporting passengers. $19.50-$20.00/hr plus tips - 3rd shift.
Responsibilities- Perform vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness of bus interiors, fuel buses, log trip counts and assist disabled passengers.
- Be present at work every scheduled day, on time and in uniform.
- Possess a valid state‑issued driver's license and carry it during duty.
- Maintain an acceptable DMV record.
- Courteously assist customers, answer questions, and direct them to the Facility Manager if needed.
- Report accidents, suspected violations, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager.
- Communicate debris, water, oil spills, etc. to the garage office.
- Substitute for cashiers or valets when authorized.
- Have thorough knowledge of the garage, major streets, landmarks and freeways in the area.
- Assist customers with luggage and other traveling items if operating shuttle buses at an airport location.
- Assist Facility Manager with other duties as needed.
Education/Experience
Required:
Less than high‑school education or one month related experience, training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
License Requirement: Must have and maintain a valid CDL Class A, B or C Driver's License with Passenger Endorsement per DOT regulations.
DOT Medical Card: A Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card) is required.
Availability to Work: Availability to work 3rd shift and/or weekends may be required.

Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence; effectively present information in one‑to‑one situations.
Mathematical
Skills:
Ability to add, subtract two‑digit numbers and multiply/divide tens and hundreds using units of US money.
Appearance: Maintain a neat and clean appearance and be in uniform at all times.
Physical DemandsThe employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to handle cash and equipment. Occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, and may lift or move up to 75 pounds.
