The Supply Chain Manager leads the functional areas of  Purchasing, Pricing, and Customer Service for the company.   In this highly visible role, you will build high-performance teams while interacting on a continual basis with customers, operations, sales, and suppliers. Responsible for analyzing and prioritizing the needs of the customer and working closely with plant operations to deliver timely orders.

Essential Functions:
• Oversees Customer Service Representatives, Purchasing Representing and a Pricing in a MANUFACTURING environment.
• Ensures that orders are entered, processed timely, and communicates with production to ensure ship dates are met. Works with operations and scheduling to resolve conflicts and prioritize the needs of the customers.
• Maintains direct responsibility for designated customer accounts and needed. Meets with sales team and customers as required to support the client relationship. Ensures that the pricing of products is completed timely and accurately.
• Ensures that raw materials are ordered and inventory at the required levels and timing.  Participates in capacity planning
meetings with the operations teams.
• Works with plant Administration Managers and Plant Managers to ensure the best manufacturing location is chosen across the
network to optimize cost and meet customer requirements.
• Analyzes job costing information and maks corrections as necessary.
• Works with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and drive corrective actions. Analyzes information and processes and develops more effective or efficient processes and strategies for the department.
• Utilizes the OTIF (On Time In Full) metric to measure the percentage of orders that are shipped on time in full, on the day
customers expected to receive orders.
Position Requirements
High School
Required Education and Experience
1. 6+ years of experience managing customer service or supply chain while interfacing with plant manufacturing. Packaging, paper, plastic, film, or aluminum foil experience a plus!
2. Hands-on ERP system experience and the ability to learn new systems quickly. Radius ERP experience a plus!
3. Experience as a change/process agent to drive the overall success of the business while partnering with plant manufacturing operations
4. Must have the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
5. Bachelor’s  degree in Business or related field preferred but not required
6. infrequent visits to other plants or customers as required – less than 10% travel
