MEP Project Manager

Our Buffalo, NY project represents a major investment in high-performance, energy-efficient digital infrastructure, supporting hyperscale and enterprise clients with resilient and scalable facilities.

The MEP Project Manager will lead the delivery of all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems for a hyperscale data center project in Buffalo, NY. This role is responsible for overseeing design integration, construction execution, and commissioning of all critical systems, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and compliance with mission-critical standards in a challenging cold-weather environment.

• Lead MEP execution for a large-scale data center development in Buffalo from early design through commissioning and turnover
• Serve as the primary coordination point between owners, consultants, general contractors, and trade partners
• Drive project delivery in alignment with schedule, budget, and quality expectations
• Oversee integration of electrical distribution systems (utility service, substations, switch gear, UPS, generators) and mechanical cooling infrastructure (chillers, cooling towers, CRAH/CRAC units)
• Ensure designs are optimized for cold-weather operation, including free cooling/economization strategies and freeze protection

• Supervise on-site MEP construction activities, ensuring compliance with contract documents, codes, and safety standards
• Coordinate installation of critical long-lead equipment and ensure procurement aligns with project schedule
• Manage subcontractors, with awareness of union labor environments typical in the Buffalo region
• Lead commissioning processes including Level 1–5 testing, with a strong focus on mission-critical reliability
• Coordinate Integrated Systems Testing (IST) to validate system performance under operational scenarios
