Position:  Clinical Supervisor (MST)
JOB SUMMARY: The MST Supervisor (Erie County, 14209) is responsible for clinical and administrative supervision to clinicians following an evidenced based framework. This person provides leadership through example and quality of management. The primary role involves promoting engagement, assuring comprehensive assessment to provide case-specific recommendations, facilitating adherence to the MST treatment principles and process in addition to Agency/Funder's expectations, providing 24/7 access of support and collaborating with team/ clinicians to assure clinical competencies.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

* Engagement and Effort
* Ecological and strength based along with providing supervision using methods compatible with MST practices.
* Assures therapist accessibility to clients when needed at times most likely to promote engagement. Assures that clinicians achieve engagement with all participants.
* Assures that Child Welfare services to families with children at risk of placement are following Preventive Regulations.


* Ongoing Knowledge and Skill Development
* Deep knowledge base and strong clinical skills relevant to MST.
* Provides supportive and corrective feedback to clinicians to promote client outcomes. Provides administrative support targeting systemic barriers to treatment success.
* Actively participates in self-growth through trainings, supervision development plans and the collection of data such as audio taping; direct observation and Supervisor Adherence Measures.


* MST Group Supervision
* Convergence with MST System Supervisor regarding team's adherence to MST principles and analytical process
* Reviews weekly paperwork, prepares feedback and conducts weekly group supervision with only occasional exceptions
* Provides 24/7 access to supervisory clinical and administrative support to clinicians


* Clinician Development
* Monitors clinician's progress through data such as field visit observations; audio tape reviews and Therapist Adherence Measures.
* Collaborates with clinicians to identify strengths and struggles to develop strategies. Clinician development plans are completed.
* Provides direct clinical training to assure clinician competency in all clinical areas relating to the implementation of MST interventions. Conducts individual supervision as needed.


* Program CQI Management
* Collects, tracts and reports outputs, outcomes and client satisfaction. Monitors team's adherence to Funder, MST and Agency expectations. Assures team's adherence to policy and procedures and QA/QI strategies.
* Actively develops working relationships and collaborates with key stakeholders. Assists clinicians' development in this area too.
* Participates in the hiring of clinicians and oversees personnel issues


* Communication
* Experience with electronic records, good verbal and written communication skills, good organizational skills
* Assures appropriate documentation of clinical effort to allow for peer and supervisory input, and to meet all reporting and communication needs of funding and referral sources.
* Collaborates with all relevant systems and key participants within each system to ensure their buy-in and cooperation throughout MST treatment; assures integration of services and natural supports, responsible for engaging their collaboration


* Quantity
* Maintains teams' average caseload of 4-6 families at a time, productivity hours and teams' TAMR collection within targeted range
* Maintains satisfactory completion rates of FAFs, Client Satisfaction Surveys, and MST Follow Up Data.
* Performs other duties as assigned



Must comply with the Agency's Compliance Program, Code of Ethics, laws, regulations, and ethical standards applicable to your job duties.

EDUCATION: Master's Degree of Social Work, Mental Health Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology or a related subject area from an accredited college or university with clinical experience in treating serious antisocial behavior in youth at the discretion of the Agency.

SPECIFY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

* Valid NYS driver's license and reliable / insured transportation required
* State Central Clearances and Criminal Background Check does not exclude staff from performing essential functions
