Our client, a leader in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking a Supply Network Planner to join their team. As a Supply Network Planner, you will be part of the Supply Chain & Logistics Department supporting manufacturing facilities, product business teams, and customer service logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, strategic planning ability, and excellent cross-functional communication, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Supply Network Planner
Location: Buffalo, NY (Must live in Buffalo, NY)
Pay Range: $ per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Contract Length: Temporary Contract (6–9 months)
What’s the Job?- Develop weekly and 3–18 month production and inventory plans to support manufacturing operations, seasonal demand, and new product rollouts.
- Manage and maintain capacity planning models for 3–5 manufacturing facilities.
- Lead the monthly Supply Agreement process supporting the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
- Analyze inventory strategies, stocking policies, and supply chain costs to optimize service levels and reduce spoilage.
- Partner with Product Business Teams and Customer Service & Logistics to improve inventory management, transportation, and warehousing strategies.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in supply chain planning, fulfillment planning, or a related field.
- Experience working with perishable or short shelf-life inventory planning.
- Knowledge of advanced planning or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Experience with financial analysis, network modeling, and inventory cost analysis.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and cross-functional communication skills.
