The Project Manager for Underground Transmission Lines will function in a project manager capacity. You will own the bottom‑line for projects encompassing HV, underground, and overhead transmission lines. There is also potential to own projects in substation, distribution, private networks and BESS. This role requires 25% travel to project sites.
Key Responsibilities- Actively promote the safety culture.
- Respond to RFPs and prepare proposals for services and/or EPC work.
- Lead project team in conceptual design and procurement phases of substation projects.
- Manage schedule, budget and scope of services and/or EPC projects.
- Interface between the client, external stakeholders and internal stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Work in both corporate and field environments.
- 7+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Experience with overhead and/or underground transmission line projects.
- Experience in multiple phases of project execution.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant field.
- PE, P.Eng or equivalent professional license.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- All applicants must be able to complete pre‑employment onboarding requirements such as background checks, drug screening and motor vehicle records search.
- Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment based upon manager discretion, job performance and work assignments.
- Sitting/standing/computer usage for extended periods of time.
- Ability to use video/audio conferencing software tools.
- Travel to client sites.
