Cloud Network Architect

Akkodis is seeking a Cloud Network Architect for a Contract with a client in Burlington, MA
. Candidates must have strong cloud networking expertise while architecting secure network solutions and supporting scalable cloud infrastructure deployments.

Rate Range: $53/hour to $56/hour; the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Design and architect secure, scalable cloud network solutions across hybrid and multi‑cloud environments.
• Develop and implement network connectivity strategies including VPC/VNet design, routing, peering, load balancing, and edge networking.
• Ensure strong network security architecture, including firewalls, segmentation, zero‑trust patterns, and policy enforcement.
• Collaborate with cloud, Dev Ops, and infrastructure teams to support cloud migrations, integrations, and performance optimization.
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud network performance issues, ensuring high availability and adherence to best practices and governance standards.
• Provide architectural guidance, documentation, and leadership on cloud networking standards, patterns, and modernization initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 6–8 years of experience in cloud networking, cloud architecture, or network engineering.
• Proven expertise designing and implementing cloud network architectures across hybrid or multi‑cloud environments, including routing, peering, and connectivity models.
• Strong hands‑on experience with cloud security, network governance, and Dev Ops‑aligned cloud networking practices, including performance optimization and troubleshooting.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $56.00 per hour
