Now Hiring - Water Distribution Field Technician
City of Burlington Public Works is hiring a Water Distribution Field Technician. This position is responsible for all activities in the water distribution system, including installing, maintaining, and repairing the city water main distribution system, domestic and commercial service connections, and fire hydrants. In addition, the technician may be required to support the Meter Field Crew as assigned.
Union Affiliation:
American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME). Pay Grade 15: $28.65 - $31.92 per hour. Remote Tier 1:
Zero days remote per week.
Location:
Burlington, VT. Final date to receive applications: 06/18/2026. Salary Range: $29 to $32 hourly.
