Munson Boats designs and manufactures welded aluminum vessels serving global clients—fire/rescue agencies, research teams, high-speed patrol units, and USCG-certified passenger operators. Join a disciplined, well-organized shop with radiant floor heat and contribute on a focused crew of 3–4 to outfit one custom vessel from start to finish. We have a sold backlog exceeding two years, ensuring steady, year-round work.

What you will do Outfit new builds with mechanical, electrical, navigation, communication, propulsion, and plumbing systems using all new components.

Install, align, and commission diesel/gasoline engines, pumps, hydraulics, generators, HVAC, and fuel systems.

Mount steering and control systems and integrate marine hardware.

Read and follow installation guides, blueprints, schematics, and system diagrams.

Validate safety, performance, and quality across all installed systems.

Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe workspace.

What you bring

Hands-on experience in mechanical, electrical, or multi-system installation.

Broad understanding of engines, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

Fluency with technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.

Team-first attitude with the ability to work independently as needed.

Exceptional attention to detail and craftsmanship.

Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.

Full-time role with four 10-hour shifts, Monday–Thursday—enjoy a three-day weekend every week.

Small-crew model (3–4 people) focused on complete vessel outfitting.
